TEXAN FUND

The Texan Fund focuses on supporting the ITC on a holistic level. Annual gifts to the Texan Fund directly support and enhance everything the Institute of Texan Cultures has to offer.

Our mission is to give voice to the experiences of people from across the globe that call Texas home providing insight into our past, present and future.

Gifts to the Texan Fund are more important than ever to ensure the Institute has continued success in its mission of providing the forum for the stories of Texas and Texans through educational and public programming, special events and exhibitions.

PLANNED GIVING

Planned gifts or legacies allow the Institute of Texan Cultures to build its endowment and ensure that the museum is telling the stories of Texans for years to come.

A gift from your estate may reduce your tax burden, increase your income and enhance your family’s legacy. There are varieties of options, such as a bequest in your will, to life-income gifts, which can provide you with an income during your lifetime before the institute may benefit from your gift. A plan can be developed that will work toward your charitable and financial goals while supporting the institute. MEMORIAL GIFTS

Legacies allow the Institute of Texan Cultures to build its endowment and ensure that the museum’s stories of Texans can be told for years to come. ARTIFACT DONATION

All offers to the museum’s permanent collections are evaluated by the museum’s Collections Committee to ensure the object fits into our collecting needs, is something we can commit to caring for long-term, and is not already well-represented. Offers of this type of item are primarily evaluated based on their condition, size, and appropriateness for current and upcoming exhibit projects.
