The icon posted a music video teaser and showed her driving a car with a license plate that read, “HemisFair.” And, yes. The license plate in the video was a real one in Texas at one time. The 1968 Texas license plates were each stamped with the word “HemisFair” at the bottom to help promote the exposition held that year in San Antonio, according to the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures. The 1968 HemisFair exposition was the first international expo in the Southwestern United States, and was held in conjunction with the 250th anniversary of the founding of San Antonio.
