This figure, known as a “Tree of life” (Arboles de la Vida) is a papier mache religious sculpture. Typically, these sculptures are painted in bright colors and are adorned with flowers, biblical characters, and skeleton figures. Tree of Life sculptures are often used for Day of the Dead celebrations.
